About Chealsea Birchfield, FNP

Chelsea worked as a Pharmacy Technician for 5 years before finding her passion for nursing. She obtained her LPN and worked in the outpatient setting for 2 years before obtaining her BSN at ETSU in 2019. She worked in various settings as an RN, mostly during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, before settling into home healthcare. She found a passion for providing skilled nursing to patients within their homes. She found this work to be rewarding and humbling. After providing home visits to patients in the East TN region for nearly 2 years, she decided she wanted to be able to better serve her community and pursued her MSN at Lincoln Memorial University in 2022. Chelsea hopes to build lasting relationships with her patients while providing holistic care.

When she isn't working, she enjoys spending time with her husband Matthew, and son, Jaden. You may often find them traveling, hiking, or lying around the house with their two dogs, Merle and Dolly.
